Freelancing has given many people the capacity to stay home and create an online business. Imagine working from home and not worrying about traffic everyday. Proof reading, voice-over work are just some of the services that a freelancer could do. You pick out the areas that you want to work in and go from there. Remember you are a business owner and as such get to decide what to work on and where and when. If you can find that “thing” that you enjoy doing and it pays you then you have really found your niche. Imagine looking forward to work. Freelancers design websites, handle wordpress themes and installation, and author reports and press releases. As you can see a freelancer handles many different items for their customers. How much you do is between you and your client. You are the “hired gun” and as such your role is vitally important.

Go to Google and look up how to get a freelance job and they will show up all over the place including exactly what needs to be done. Once you have established yourself to that new client you are on your way. Build this business while you keep your current job. When you are in a position to “fire your boss” then go for it.
